1. When will long registration forms be available?
If you have already registered using the short form, the long forms will be mailed to you the first part of March. Additionally longer form will be available on this website to download and complete on line.
2. Is the March 16th Pre-Convention Dance Free?
The dance is free to all who have preregistered AND completed the long registration form. If you have not completed the long form when you arrive at the dance, you will be required to complete one during the dance sign in.
If you have not previously registered, you may do so at the door and attend the dance.
3. Will the 2025 Louisiana State Festival be held at the same place as the Pre-Convention dance?
No. The Louisiana State Festival will be held at the Promenade Hall, 5400 Benton Rd, Bossier City, LA March 14th - 16th; Thur evening - Sat. Saturday evening will start the Pre-Convention dance. This will be held at the Convention Center.
4. Are spectators allow at the dances?
YES. We love to have spectators come see what square-dancing is all about. We welcome questions about where and how to learn to square dance as well. We do ask that small children be attended by an adult at all times as dance floors can be very crowded and square dancing is a contact activity.
5. Is Square Dance Attire required?
Square dance attire is customarily worn during all evening dances and strongly encouraged during the convention. However, paid dancers are welcome to dance regardless of attire.
6. Is there transportation from RV park to Convention center?
There is no transportation available at this time. Please check back closer to the Convention date for any changes.
